1,100 Flower Bases

No, I'm not exaggerating. No, I'm not kidding. There are really and truly 1,100 flower bases beneath this cut.

This is the product of a week's work and boredom of sorting, saving, cropping, numbering, and clicking. I searched under every flower name I and many others could come up with. If there were good images of them on Getty, they got saved.

So. Many. Flowers.

Now, let's address the details. Credit is appreciated but not necessary, customization is welcome. For this post, if you found it useful, I'd appreciate it a lot if you passed the link along to others. That's why it's such a big collection - I tried to make it so that a person only had to sort through one post to find some good flower bases.

With commenting on what you'd took, I'd really really appreciate it if you did. But, I can totally understand being a flower freak and saving over half, and I can't expect people to give all those filenames. So, when it comes to that, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me which ones were your favourite/most striking, but it's not necessary.

And, whew. So many flowers.

All of them are gorgeous! I applaud you on all of the work that must have gone into making them. :)

I snagged 35, 83, 238, 400, and 497 for future use.

took 360 and 35.

it's soooo nice to look at that many flowers when I live some place cold and grey right now.

just wish there where some iris that weren't croped so much that the whole flower isn't in the icon.

Sigh, I know... I love iris. Unfortunately, all of Getty's good ones were closeups, or so far away they couldn't be distinguished at 100by100, or the best part was watermarked.

So many pretty flowers.. I took mostly roses and daisys and daffodils, I also pimped out both posts in my community, so you may get a lot more flower lovers coming this way :)

When I get done with both posts, I'll leave a list ;)

I love *all* of these. Taking a lot of the closeups of roses, daisies, sunflowers and the purple things that look like little berries on stems (are these hyacinths?) These are so great! The ones I like the best are definately the tight closeups, no matter what the flower :)

Hee, you too? I love them as well... I saved every good one I could find! Though there were a ton of red rose ones that good rather repetitive, hee.

I love the closeups so much, though... it's just so cool to see that perspective. :)
