threadless icons

Am soooooooooo tired and sickish so no rambling introduction to these. They're simple icons made using art from the sort of cool and sort of annoying t-shirt site threadless. They're basically art icons, much like the various other sets of art icons that I've made. I do consider these icons though they are not fancy; they're meant to simply showcase the art, and I would strongly prefer it if you wouldn't modify them.

Credit optional -- you should probably provide a link to threadless, but I'm not going to be obsessively checking or anything -- but please do comment and tell me what you're taking. These took me a long time to make (I'm slow) and that few minute's show of consideration is all I ask in return for my work.

Oh! Bonus fun game: I will make either a personalized icon (no animation as I haven't got it) or a small set of bases on a theme of your choice for the first person who can guess which of these shirts I actually own. I've got two of them, so there are two potential winners, should people choose to play.

*edit* The shirts that I own have been guessed. They are: armchair (the very first one in the set, of the girl reading in a green armchair) and the scrabble shirt. The fact that so many people think that I own tools of the trade sort of makes me think that it's a sign from the universe telling me to buy it.

These are absolutly amazing! I love threadless, I shop there all the time. I took Phone Home and the one with the cow and the egg.

also, i guess that you have the armchair and/or badseed as tshirts.

Dingdingding! You win -- I've got armchair (though not badseed). I had to own it the moment I saw it -- it's the most "me" t-shirt I've ever come across. I love it and wear it all the time. <3

So, as winner #1, you have the following options: an icon of your choice, made to your exact specifications, but barring animation as I do not have an animation program; a set of three "glorified bases" or textless icons on a subject of your choice; or, a set of bases on a subject or theme of your choice, number unspecified -- probably I would just collect as many images as struck my fancy and keep making bases of them until I got bored. For the first and the second you have the option to keep them exclusively yours, with no public posting for people to grab. I would post the bases as a separate post of their own for others to use as well.

I heart threadless. I have quite a few of their t-shirts (the cats who've pulled the pin on a grenade, the Communist Party, the chicken and egg one, something weird with balloons, a monster and a little boy sharing an icecream, and a hoodie with nesting dolls). I'm not taking any of your icons since I never remember to use any but my default, but you did a great job on these :)

The toast one is never in stock when I have money! It is right now, but only in silver, which I don't like as much. And even though I love the picture and clearly SHOULD own it, I think the picture is it a bit large on the shirt itself. I just don't know! I just decide, like, today, but that's $17 dollars I don't really have and could send to NC if I were going to spend superfluous money. And damnit, I just sweet talked my dad into buying me one of their shirts a month ago and won't be able to do it again for another few months at least.

I love the russian nesting dolls and tried really hard to get them to fit into an icon, but couldn't crop and resize it in a way that pleased me.
